Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology experience License: RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided Certifications: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card Must-Have: Demonstrated general knowledge and competence regarding nursing theories, concepts, and practices. Working knowledge of safety policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and regulatory changes. Written and verbal communication skills to explain information clearly and professionally. Time management and organizational skills for prioritizing patient care and assignments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capability to handle multiple interventions in a changing environment. Skill to communicate and engage with team members, patients, and families in stressful situations. Ability to use procedures and critical thinking to solve routine or complex problems. Description: Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care incorporating various factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers. Communicates effectively to promote an optimal patient experience. Adheres to policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations. Ensures the privacy of each patient's protected health information. Prioritizes assignments and works within standardized policies and procedures to meet objectives.
