Job Title: RN IV Therapy Profession: Nursing Specialty: IV Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: BLS and GA or compact RN license required Must-Have: Strong IV initiation, maintenance, and implanted port skills Excellent customer service skills are required. Flexibility in rotating to other non-oncology sites that provide the same standards of care is necessary. Description: The role involves working with patients diagnosed with various conditions including multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, genetic disorders, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, autoimmune conditions, endocrinology, nephrology, and pulmonary infusions. Responsibilities include IV initiation, maintenance, and implanted port management. The position requires expertise in managing hypersensitivity.
